Dr Juliette MARAIS is a research director from the University Gustave Eiffel. Her research deals with GNSS-based system performance analysis and enhancement considering the specificity of local propagation effects in harsh transport environments and the requirements of land transport applications, in particular railways. She has a strong experience of European projects dealing with the introduction of satellite-based systems for railway signalling. Her research interests principally include local propagation phenomena detection and characterization (multipath and interferences), position and pseudorange error modelling, mitigation of local effects for better accuracy and integrity.
