Best Student Paper Award
The Best Student Paper competition recognizes exceptional research and innovation by student authors.

The top 5 finalists for the Best Student Paper Award will be awarded a Travel Grant of up to $1,500 towards travel expenses to attend the conference.
The student finalists will be asked by the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine (MAES), the flagship magazine of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, to write a joint article. The article should summarize the technical work presented at the NAVICON in an accessible language and meet MAES style guidelines. Details will be provided upon invitation.
Student authors wishing to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award must select “Yes” to the question “Is the first author of this paper a student at the time of submission?” during the paper submission process in EDAS. The awardee must attend the conference and present their article to be eligible. The travel grant cannot be awarded to a non-student co-author.
All awards will be announced during the conference at the awards ceremony, where awardees will receive a certificate.
