Fredrik Gunnarsson is an Expert in RAN Automation and Positioning at Ericsson Research, Linköping, Sweden. He has over 20 years of experience in cellular radio network research, with a focus on positioning technologies since 3G. He is a co-author of the Ericsson white paper on 5G positioning [3] and the IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials paper on vehicular wireless positioning [4]. He has contributed to 3GPP positioning standardization across multiple releases and holds numerous patents in the area of cellular positioning methods.
