Cosimo Stallo

Cosimo Stallo got an MSc in Electronic Engineering (Specialisation on Microelectronics) at the Polytechnic of Bari in 2005, Master of Science Post-lauream on Advanced Satellite Communications and Navigation Systems (110/110 cum laude) in 2006, and a PhD in Microelectronics and Telecommunications at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Optimum) in 2010. He has almost 21 years of experience on space systems, satellite telecommunication and navigation working in Academia (University of Rome Tor Vergata, University of Trento) and research center (RadioLabs Consortium), Agency (Italian Space Agency and European Space Agency) and Industry (Thales Alenia Space). In 2018 he joined ASI as fellow researcher in the Unit of Telecommunications and Navigation. He was national delegate of the European Comission WG CSI (Compatibility, Signal and Interoperability) for Galileo, and national observer in the European Commission Task force on GNSS interferences. He joined Thales Alenia Space Italy in December 2019 as Senior System Navigation Engineer in the Domain of Observation and Navigation Italy. In March 2023 he was appointed Head of Unit on E2E system design within Navigation Systems Department in Domain of Observation and Navigation Italy. In May 2023 he was appointed TAS Italy specialist on E2E Navigation System. In June 2024 Cosimo joined European Space Agency covering the role of LCNS/Moonlight Principal Navigation System engineer.
