Dr. Alessia Nocerino is Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering of University of Naples “Federico II”. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Naples with a focus on autonomous relative navigation for close proximity operations. She took part in several project funded by national and international entities, such as ASI and ESA, collaborating with Italian and international companies, universities and research centers. Her research interests now focus on autonomous guidance, navigation and control of spacecraft for the execution of proximity operations in on-orbit servicing and active debris removal mission.
